Welcome to Meeker!

Smoking River Pow Wow will be held at Ute Park in Meeker.
You will see Ute Park just north of highway 13; it is adjacent to
the west side of the town. You may have attended the Meeker
Classic Sheepdog Championship Trials at Ute Park in the past.

Meeker, Colorado is 39 miles north of Rifle, Colorado and I-70;
48 miles south of Craig, and 57 miles southeast of Rangely.

Northwest Colorado is currently experiencing an energy boom;
lodging can be difficult to secure, and persons planning on
attending Smoking River Pow Wow are encouraged to book
rooms as early as possible.

Limited, on-site camping is available for dancers and vendors;
no pets or campfires are allowed at this site.
Camping is also available at Meeker's Circle Park
and on nearby BLM and National Forest lands.

Showers are available at the new Meeker Recreation Center
and at local businesses (fees will be charged).
